So, why are we whole and complete? Because we are Divine. Both individually and collectively, we are Divine.
Just quickly, before we go further into this eternal spiritual truth, let’s repeat, (like we did with the earlier post) “I AM whole and complete.”
“I AM whole and complete.”
There you go . . .
Are you feeling it?
Yes? No? Again, either answer is OK, because either way, it’s still true.
We Each Are Divine
And it’s still true because, as we said at the top of the page, we are Divine. Which means you are Divine.
You see, we each are an individuated aspect of the Divine — whole and complete within ourselves. And together, as part of the whole, together, we are Divine.
So, does that mean we are all of the Divine? Are we the entirety of the Divine?
Personally, I believe the Divine is bigger than humanity. To me the Divine also includes the animals, our ancestors who have passed over, the Angelic Realm . . .
To me the Divine is limitless. And if it’s not limitless, it feels that way because it is certainly beyond my current human ability to comprehend and understand fully.
Experiencing Divinity Through Our Hearts
Yet, when I connect to the Divinity in my heart, I get a glimmer of this limitlessness in a way that allows me to experience it directly, even though I can’t fully comprehend it with my brain.
And the longer I stay connected to this Divinity in my heart, the better I am able to experience this limitless Divinity that my brain can’t quite grasp.
It is through that direct experience of what my brain can’t really get that I know I am whole and complete.
I know I am whole and complete when I experience the Divinity within my heart.
Experiencing Divinity from the Outside In
For many people though, it’s their experience of the vastness of the Divine that enables them to connect to their individual Divinity within. They move from the outside to the inside, if you will.
Some talk about watching the sun rise or set, or staring at the stars in the sky. Others describe how meditation expands them into the limitlessness.
So connecting to Divinity can be a bit like the chicken and the egg. Which comes first? The inner Divinity or the Limitlessness of the Divine?
And does it matter?
You might also be reminded of the proverbial drop in the ocean, and how all of the ocean is contained in a single drop – in every single drop.
And yes, on one hand, yes, it is a lot like that analogy. But on the other hand, it’s also true that each ocean on Earth is a limited body of water, whereas Divinity is not limited by shorelines.
All of Divinity in Each Single Drop
Still, the ocean analogy helps us understand another principal of Divinity, and it is this:
We are individually whole and complete. And because we each are aspects of the entirety of the Divine, we have access to the consciousness that is contained within the whole, or at least the parts of this collective consciousness with which our individual frequencies resonate.
For example, while I’d like to believe there are still some drops of the ocean that do not contain any traces of plastic, I suspect that’s no longer true, whether we can measure those tiniest trace amounts of plastic, or not.
I also believe that the solution to that problem of plastic in the oceans exists within the Divine. This is no startling revelation. Humans have long held that God knows everything about both itself, and its creations – be it humanity, the rest of nature, our ancestors, or the angels.
One of Us Drops Will Contain the Solution
This makes it easy for me to believe that one day, one of us drops of Divinity is going to contain the solution to the problem of plastic in the ocean and start working on it in some lab here on Earth.
That’s why I believe that eventually, we, once again, will have clean oceans. Yes, both individually and collectively, each doing our own part, whatever that part is, we will re-create clean oceans . . .
. . . Just like we are in the midst of re-creating clean air in Los Angeles, New York and other places that once seemed hopelessly polluted.
This also is why I believe we will receive from the whole of Divinity the solutions to all of the challenges we face, no matter how dire they seem at the moment — as long as at least a few of us stay connected to the truth that we are whole and complete and individualized aspects of the Divine.
Oh, and stay tuned, Beijing. Cleaner air is coming to you too.
