When I asked later, once again, there was no reply. Same thing happened last night. I even told my friend Sandy that I might not have a post at all this week.
“This blog’s not usually unpredictable,” I told her. “Not at all,” I sighed, resigning to the discomfort.
Yet a part of me knew this experience was a piece of something larger, even though I didn’t know what. After you’ve been consciously working in your Akashic Records for a while, you begin to sense the possibility of something coming through, even when you have no real idea what’s actually happening – yet.
“Am I going to get a post today?” That was the question I asked my Records this morning.
“Maybe, and maybe not,” they replied. OK, at least that was a reply.
Still, when I returned an email to Jessica, the delightful woman who sends out these blogs and posts them on social media, I felt I needed to give her a heads-up.
“So far nothing has come in around the blog. Zilch. It’s as if they want me to entertain not posting one, but I don’t feel like a ‘decision has been made.’ Very interesting…” I wrote.
The Magical Ingredient
From there I scooted over to Facebook to see if I had a note from my cousin. Nothing from her, but the first thing on my newsfeed was this quote attributed to author and thought leader Ekhart Tolle:
“Being at ease with not knowing is crucial for answers to come to you.”
There it was, the answer. And it appeared just two clicks after I attained the recommended ease.
Ease Allows Expansion
Yes, last night I’d said something to Sandy about the possibility of no post, but that was long before I’d made peace with the thought. It was once I accepted not knowing, and sent a warning to Jess, that the answer appeared.
You see, it’s our ego who needs to know in advance. We humans find safety and security when we think we know the future.
Needing to Know Pushes Guidance Away
But often we’re simply fooling ourselves. And we’re constricting our energy, which can unintentionally push the guidance away.
Our soul, however, already knows, and knows more than our egos can imagine. When we focus on feeding the ego, we pull our energy in, and risk disconnecting from our higher selves and their wisdom.
Our ease with not knowing, however, allows us to be more open to the best answer, the answer that comes from our soul.
Yes, to our human selves, this seems unpredictable and therefore uncomfortable. But when we are connected to our higher selves, as we are in the Records, there is no discomfort.
In the Records we experience the ease Tolle talks about. In the Akashic Records, the answers from our souls appear – even when they go on time delay, just to make a point.
